April Kriha, CFP®
Principal, Investment Advisor
April graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 1997, with a degree in Business with a Finance and Accounting concentration. She has been working with high net worth clients in a fiduciary environment since 2001. She earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in June 2008.
While enjoying strategic planning and driving toward financial success with clients, what brings April a sense of joy and purpose is knowing a client’s objectives and intent thoroughly enough that those achievements have meaning. Her specialties are in legacy planning, retirement planning, and tax-aware investment strategies. With over two decades of experience, there isn’t much she hasn’t seen in the financial planning world.
As an avid learner, April loves the process of unraveling deeper truths. Her quest often materializes by having her nose in a book or hiking deep into nature’s most beautiful and exotic places.
Steve Kriha, AIF®
Principal, Investment Advisor
Since 2001, Steve has worked in investment management, enjoying financial planning and being able to positively impact clients’ lives along their journey. Many clients have continued to work with Steve since his beginning, and he takes pride in building long-term expectations and meeting those objectives.
Steve graduated from the University of Washington in 1996, with a degree in Political Science and Economics, and in 2007 Mr. Kriha obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, which demonstrates that he has met educational, competence, conduct and ethical standards to carry out a fiduciary standard of care and serve the best interests of his clients.
Steve is an avid fan of baseball and was raised in the Pacific Northwest. He is often found hiking with his family in the amazing locations that are located in the region. Recently added to Steve’s personal accomplishments are climbing to the top of Mount Fuji in Japan, completing the 50 mile West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island, and he has begun the Forty Sixer campaign for the Adirondacks in upstate New York.
He presently enjoys visiting his daughters who are both attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and are studying Computer Science and Aerospace Engineering. Steve is also enjoying watching his daughter Madeline play soccer for the university and watching his other daughter Kaitlin, build and operate her own rocket that could potentially reach low orbit.
